With decades of combined experience and a legacy that spans three generations, we bring a blend of compassionate care and clinical excellence to everything we do. And yes, we love what we do — and it shows.

Our Dentists

Dr. Gina F. Orland

General Dentist, Owner

Dr. Gina is honored to continue the family legacy of exceptional dental care that began nearly 50 years ago. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2007, she joined the family practice and became owner in 2009, carrying forward a tradition built on trust, compassion, and clinical excellence.

A natural leader, Dr. Gina served as class president during dental school and was recognized with multiple awards for her leadership, service, and dedication to the profession. Today, she is known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to helping patients of every age feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.

Dr. Gina is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society, and she remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry to provide the highest quality care.

When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Gina enjoys spending time with her parents, husband & two sons.

Dr. Cassie K. Albert

General Dentist

Dr. Cassie combines clinical excellence with a compassionate, patient-first approach to dentistry. Originally from St. Louis and a graduate of Butler University, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2019 before joining the Orland Family Dental team.

Committed to providing the highest standard of care, Dr. Cassie regularly pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry. She believes in creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient while delivering personalized treatment that supports long-term oral health.

Dr. Cassie is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.

Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, painting, discovering new adventures, and spending time with her husband and beloved pup.

Dr. Shannon Scott Shannon

General Dentist

Dr. Shannon has been part of the Orland Family Dental team since 1998. She earned her dental degree from State University New York at Buffalo in 1996. After completing a general practice residency at Michael Reese Hospital she brought her passion for people-centered care to Riverside.

Practice Update: Dr. Shannon is s currently on medical leave and is not seeing patients at this time. While there is no confirmed return date, our team remains committed to providing the same exceptional care you expect. Dr. Gina and Dr. Cassie are available to assist with all of your dental needs and look forward to welcoming you.

Financial Coordinator
Since 2010, Cindy has helped our patients understand their dental benefits and treatment costs. She's your go-to for all billing and insurance questions — and always happy to help.
Nina

Patient Coordinator
The friendly face who greets you when you arrive, Nina has been with us since 2011. Whether you have a question about your upcoming appointment or need to reschedule, she makes sure your experience runs smoothly. Nina is always ready with a smile—and an answer in English or Spanish.
Sue

Chairside Assistant
Sue has been a part of our family since 2002. She started assisting Dr. Frank and now works closely with Dr. Gina and Dr. Shannon. Sue is always ready with a humorous story that is sure to put a smile on your face.
Yevette

Dental Hygienist
Our longtime hygienist, Yevette, earned her license at Loyola in 1983 and has worked with the Orland family since 1988. Her calm approach puts even the most nervous patients at ease.
Denise

Dental Hygienist
Denise graduated from Loyola in 1978 and joined Orland Family Dental in 1992. With her hygiene knowledge, she's helped generations of families keep their smiles healthy.
Isamar

Chairside Assistant & Receptionist
Isamar became part of the Orland Family Dental team in 2020. She primarily assists Dr. Cassie, but you’ll also spot her at the front desk on Fridays and Saturdays. Friendly and knowledgeable, she’s always happy to answer your dental questions — in both English and Spanish.
Francine

Receptionist
Francine joined us in 2019 after a career as a registered nurse. You’ll find her at the front desk during the week, ready to check you out after your visit and help with anything you need. Her calm, caring nature makes every appointment a little brighter.
